I do not have an iPad 2, but recently did an update and everything is "washed" out which is not good. Then, when I try to play Word, it turns sideways, upside down and will not "rightside" up and has a blackened edge about 1/3 of the screen and is missing the bottom row with "letter" and "send" capabilities! How can I correct this. I already rebooted and it is still acting the same, or returns quickly!!!!

also have same problem but in my case when i pushed the sleep/wake button it displays a battery cell & a plug and then went black again quickly...HELP,pls!!! some insights on what kind of problem my ipad is having

it was fine one day then the next day it does not respond.sliding to unlock and no response.also has happened before and again just recently,it speaks every move i make.i would have to touch the icon i want then double tap to open. can anyone help ??

Ok to all the fools that are complaining about no flash. EVERYONE KNEW there would be no flash. So get over that part. Sue happy freaks! Now! granted it is a pain in the butt not having flash at times for most part don't really need it. It would be nice to have a GOOD work around to do a couple odd things. But as far as NO BODY knowing that flash wouldn't be on the ipad. That was spoken about many many a time online on TV everywhere. You knew plain and simple. Advice get you a lousy windows based tablet so you get your flash. And get to spend the rest of your time using the windows based device updating every half hour. I was anti apple until I spent a little time with one of their products. You turn an Apple on you use it. You turn on a PC or windows based product it uses you. Your choice.. Maybe people need to quit building flash based programs then the problem would be resolved for the whole world.

I agree I would not have bought it either if I had know you couldn't install a flash player. Sue sue sue!!
